How can I open a new Trading and Demat account?

Important Guideline
As per the regulations, new accounts can't be opened if the PAN number is not linked with an Aadhaar number. Even if the Aadhaar number is linked with the PAN number, it is mandatory to be updated to the IT records first, which may take up to 30 business days. Also, it is mandatory to link the phone number with the Aadhaar number. Click on the link below: Link Your Aadhaar
  1. Click on the link - https://onboarding.tiqs.in/
  2. Enter your 10-digit mobile number and verify your number by submitting the OTP.
    Note: Enter the mobile number which is linked with your Aadhaar number & bank account.
  3. Enter your E-Mail ID and verify your E-Mail by submitting the OTP.
  4. Enter your 10-digit PAN number and date of birth.
  5. Do your KYC verification by authenticating your Aadhaar number with Digi Locker and allow the access to retrieve the documents by submitting the OTP and Digi- Locker 6-digit security pin.
  6. Select your gender.
  7. Select your Marital status.
  8. Select your Occupation.
  9. Select your yearly income (If you don’t know the exact amount, select the average of your best guess).
  10. Select your trading experience duration.
  11. Write down your parent’s name (Father’s & Mother’s name).
  12. Select your trading segment and click on Next.
  13. To link your demat account with bank account you have 2 options- (To enable Cash Segment)

    1. By verifying using UPI: You will get a QR Code on your screen. Scan & accept to Pay Rs.1 request through any UPI application. The amount will be refunded to you within 2 business days.
      Note: Pay using that account which you are willing to link with your Demat account.

    2. By verifying manually: You can upload your bank account statement/ Cancel cheque.
      Note: IFSC & MICR code is compulsory for the bank proof.
  14. Take a selfie as per given instruction for verification purpose and click on Submit.
    Note: Please check whether your location is enabled before this step.
  15. Provide your valid signature to verify the declarations and click on Next.
  16. Enter nominee details or you can skip the details.
  17. To enable F&O segment:
    1. Without Income Proof:
      1. You need to give access of your bank account using your mobile number via Setu (Account Aggregator) & validate by OTP.
      2. Select the bank account where your salary is credited.
      3. Approve data sharing and click on Done.
    2. With Income Proof:
      1. Upload your income proof manually.
        Note: IFSC & MICR code is compulsory for the bank proof
  18. Aadhaar E-Sign to authenticate your demat account with Aadhaar number:
    1. Click on KYC Documents and then Sign .
    2. Enter your Aadhaar number and validate by OTP.
    3. Click on CVL KRA form and then Sign .
    4. Again, enter your Aadhaar number and validate by OTP.
  19. Finally, you will get a welcome email with user ID and password reset link.
  20. After password reset you can sign in with the credentials and enjoy your investment journey with TIQS.
