Why did I receive a payment request from Tiqs which I did not raise?

A wrong UPI collect request is sent in the following cases:

  1. Another Tiqs customer accidentally put in your UPI ID when they tried to add funds to Tiqs.

    Example scenario

    • Suppose two account holders of Tiqs namely Rahul D with UPI id rahul.d@okaxis and Rahul S with UPI id as Rahul.s@okaxis.
    • If Rahul D enters the UPI id as rahul.s@okaxis, a wrong request is sent to Rahul S.
    • If you didn't start the transfer, you should cancel it through the UPI app. Even if the transaction is approved, the transfer of funds will fail because your bank account is not linked to their Tiqs account.
    • Only transfers from bank accounts that are linked will be accepted. Your Tiqs account can be linked to more than one bank account. To see your linked bank accounts, visit console.Tiqs.com/account/bank
  2. Someone has accessed your Tiqs account and requested you to add money. If you haven't given anyone your Tiqs login information, you could be a victim of phishing, in which a scammer tries to get you to add money to your account. In this situation, you should change your Tiqs login information right away. See How to reset my Tiqs password? Subsequently, they would plan to execute fraudulent transactions with the transferred funds.

  3. A fraudster has registered Tiqs as their name in a UPI app and has sent you the request. Please note, only the following are Tiqs’s official UPI ids while adding funds on the Tiqs trading platform- Tiqsbroking@hdfcbank,
    zermcx@hdfcbank,
    Tiqsbroking@axisbank,
    Tiqsbroking@yesbank
    Tiqs.comm@yesbank
    Tiqs.razorpay@icici
Tiqsbrokingsignup@hdfcbank - when you open your account with Tiqs. If you have received such requests from any ID apart from the above, please email us immediately at name@Tiqs.com or create a ticket
