Fund Withdrawal

What is the withdrawable balance?

Withdrawable balance in a trading account refers to the amount of funds that are available for an investor to withdraw from their trading account after accounting for any open positions, margin requirements, and pending orders. It represents the portion of the funds in the account that is not being used to support active trades and can be transferred to the investor's bank account. The withdrawable balance may fluctuate as trades are executed and market conditions change. T+1 is the settlement period for equities and F&O trades further affects the withdrawable balance and the timing of when the funds can be withdrawn to a bank account.

The withdrawable balance can change post market closing if you have traded during the day. This is because all charges and obligations get updated post the end of the day process typically between 5 PM to 9 PM.

While the funds deposited to the trading account during the day are available for trading immediately, they can only be withdrawn the next day owing to the end of the day settlement and reconciliation processes.
