What should I do if the bank has changed the branch IFSC or my account number?

Banks sometimes go through internal restructuring or merger or are acquired, which can cause account numbers and IFSCs to change.

In these situations, you'll need to update the information on our end. The online "primary bank account change" procedure described here can be used to update the account number or IFSC. You can follow the procedure here if the account number or IFSC change is for your secondary bank.

Online changes are only possible if your registered mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar. If you possess a non-individual account (HUF, Corporate, or Partnership) or your Aadhaar is not linked, you can proceed using the offline method explained below.

You must print the 'Account Modification Form' fill it out, sign it, and send it to Tiqs's main office together with the bank account proof (one from the below list)

  • Personalised Cancelled Cheque (with Account holder's name printed on the cheque leaf)
  • Bank statement (with IFSC Code and MICR No.) - * should be self-attested
  • Bank Passbook

Note:

  • The Bank Account needs to be in the name of the Tiqs account holder.
  • You will be charged Rs 25 + 18% GST for the modification.
